It is not realistic to expect your gardens, life size or miniature, to stay the same in appearance months after months. They grow out of shape or out of the containers in fairly short period of time. So frequent trimming and the willingness to go with the flow will help you enjoy your little gardens more month after month. When you make a miniature garden, you tell the plants where to live and what to do. After a while, the plants show you how they want to grow. There’s no need to run out right away and buy new replacement if a plant dies. Take the opportunity to change the design. Maybe all you need to do is to add a few pebbles or change the accessories.
